Dear Friends:

It has been a while since I have last posted and part of that is just being so busy with twins.

I had to go off my TOBI due to vestibuler issues and was put on Aztreonam extended care use program. When I am on it I am very healthy can even do things I never thought possible yet after being off of anything for more than two weeks I start getting sick again. This has happened for years and on my off months of tobi/aztreonam then I am on cipro ect. Is thier anotehr med I should be looking at on those off months? AM I alone with this issue? My pfts are in the 60s but my lower airways are about 27%. I am at my wits end not knowing what to do..

Please advise!

Some people do cycle an inhaled abx all the time. So I don't think it is unusual for you to have difficulty during your off months. Have they ever suggested inhaled Collistin during your off AZLI time? That might be an option for you. I may try that soon during my off time.
