Please Help!!!!!!!!!

I have a few questions. First of all, is it common in CF for hands and feet to swell up. My hands and feet always swell up when I do my vest and my hands swell up if I just have them hanging by my side. Also this is a woman question. I am not sure if what I have is a yeast infection or not. But I get this all the time. I get a lot of itching down there and it causes abrasions that bleed. I am sometimes a little dry during intercourse and I was wondering if this could be CF related.

I really can't comment on the swelling thing, but I will tell you that if you have itching "down there", try Vagisil applied maybe after each visit to the rest room & see if that helps. If not, have your Dr prescribe a dose of Diflucan to see if that helps.
The ole dryness problem is a common side effect of being on antibiotics. I, too get dry & that's where KY Jelly comes in handy to lube things up. Because I'm assuming you're on antibiotics, make sure you're drinking plenty of water too. Good Luck<img src="i/expressions/sun.gif" border="0">

Not sure about the swelling up with the vest... I do it and have never had that problem. Could it be water retention? As far as the infection..... I would go to a doc and have it checked out. Itching is a very common sign of yeast infections, but as for the bleeding I've not heard of that with yeast. You should deffinately go to a doc and make sure before doing anything over the counter or anything, just to rule out everything else. Good luck!!!
