PMS!!!

My periods were really light like that after I went through an unwell patch. I think it was because my nutrition levels were low and so it affected my hormones, they are ok now though. Have you had your nutrition or hormones checked? I find that when mine are low I also have a permanent bad mood and get really upset all the time. What I'm wondering is maybe it's not a pms thing so much as stress/usual coping with CF frustration thing or poor hormone or nutrition levels. Whatever the cause, I think alot of us have been there and hope you're feeling happy and more positive soon. Thinking of you.

I know I will sound like a broken record possibly but I would make sure to check your blood sugar.

When I was first developing symptoms of diabetes the worst symptoms I had were excessive sweating, severe mood swings and I constantly felt nauseous. Then after several months I started losing weight, got blurry vision, fatigue/constantly wanted to sleep, always thirsty and so on.

Just a thought but the rest of the ideas are very likely as well. I would say too if you have very infrequent periods it may be a nutrition thing like others have mentioned.

Take Care and Best of Luck in fixing the problem.

I believe its all based on vitamin levels, nutritional &/or hydration. These can aggrivate any moodiness associated with PMS as well as mess with how heavy your flow is.

Meds & weight gain/loss also can influence things. I dont know if age has anything to really do with it, but I know my cycles have gotten much worse as I get older. Both the discomfort & the moods!
