polypoid mucosa

hey all...I had sinus surgery YEARS ago for polyps. I went to the ENT a few months ago to get checked out again because I thought I might have them again. He checked me out, did a CT scan of my sinuses and found that I have a polypoid mucosa...it's kind of just what formed after the polyps were taken out, like scar tissue (but it's not a polyp and it's not getting bigger or anything like that). Well, the scan showed that it's making my sinuses uneven which is why I get sinus headaches almost everyday...there's not much to do about it but take some ibuprofen and other anti inflammatories. I was just wondering if anyone else has had this after surgery and if there's anything else you recommend for relief?

I have had to have sinus surgery to revise the polpectomy. I was never told the it was polypoid mucosa but that the scar tissue has built up and that is why I was getting headaches. It sound like the same thing only in layman terms.
