Cory use to use a 22 gauge and 1/2 inch but just like Patti they became harder and harder to get so he was using a 3/4.

When I'm just getting my port flushed my dr just uses a butterfly needle (those ones they use for drawing blood) and I think its like 30 gauge (very tiny!). But when I'm in the hospital its always 22 gauge, 3/4 inch even though it sticks off my chest quite a bit.
