port issues

I had a port removed a month ago when they said I had a yeast infection in my blood. I been sick two weeks prior to getting it removed. To this day I still get pain in my neck and back and was wondering what can I do? I don't talk to the doctor who put it in anymore.. I take tramadol and it helps but when I don't take it i'm sorry!! The port was only in for a month. My question is how long after a port is removed should I be in pain for.. It's dull and comes and goes. Please help!!

Did they clear up the infection w/ antibiotics ? i would go for a recheck to the dr that did the surgery. incision pain can last a long time, but as I have said, have it checked. Blood work should show if the infection is gone. Feel better..
