Predisone

Am I the only one on predisone all the time? I am on it every other day and have been my whole life. I read a lot about how people do doses of it when they are sick and when I am sick I get bumped to everyday but I feel I am the only one on it all the time. Thanks!

I have had prednisone 2 times i think, in the 6 months before i had my tx. My doctor didn't want me to be on it all the time and not if it wasn't really neccesary. As she said it wouldn't really treat the symptoms (nothing worked really) but just make me feel a little better. She said that i would maybe do to much because i was on it and felt a little better. With the result that my body wouldn't have the energy to fight the bacteria.. Hope this makes sense hehe.

My doctor puts me on it when I complain of being short of breath.
Frankly, I can't tell a difference when I take it, but maybe that's just me or maybe I'm not on it long enough to make a difference.
