so is it common to not feel good right after coming off prednisone? i did a 5 day round of it with i don't know what dosage, but the dr didn't think that i needed to be weened off of it and my last dose was yesterday morning and today my stomach feels like i ate something bad and i've been achy, and the prednisone is the best explanation i have for it so i figured i would come ask here

They usually stop mine abruptly. I do notice within a day or two I start feeling short of breath again, etc. Its an antiinflammatory, so it shrinks the inflammation in the airways. I sometimes think, unless I'm really suffering with my asthma, I prefer not to go on prednisone cause I feel such a great high from it and then after a few days I'm usually back to feeling tight, etc.

Not sure if this is what's happening with you? I've not felt achy or anything, but I've only been on it a few times. But, both times they did stop mine abruptly after a 7-day course.
