So because of this newest cold I have I got myself a lovely dose of prednisone. At first I was somewhat afraid to take it because of all of the nasty side effects it can produce. I was on it in April and I felt fabulous, my lungs were great and my joints felt better than ever...but it did squat for my sinuses (which is what I was on it for at the time). So I started it this morning and was fine all day, then got it the car to go home and my ankles started to feel somewhat sore. When I got home, they continued to feel sore and very cold, like my circulation was bad. They are not bruised or swollen.
I am wondering if this is a side effect of the prednisone? Has anyone had this happen before? I am assuming (since my joints felt better the last time I was on it) that this feeling will go away after a few doses...has anyone had that happen to them? Any input would be greatly appreciated. I am going to stay on the med unless my symptoms get worse of course, but wanted to see what the "druggies" say...and I mean that in the nicest way possible...
