pregnancy and lifting

Thanks for all the great advice. I figured I should just listen to my body. I was lifting my son a lot the other day and doing lots of shopping and sort of felt like I was doing too much so I decided not to do that much at one time again. I guess I need to start pacing myself, especially since the first-trimester sleepiness is starting to kick in.

Nicole-I had one of those "gasp" moments too last week when I ate lunchmeat. I had no idea that was off limits until I read it in a baby book a couple days afterwards. Ah well... live and learn. There are so many things out there that you should avoid and I figure it's not worth worrying too much about. Like the fish/mercury thing - I LOVE fish and I plan on eating it during my pregnancy. I just won't overdo it, especially with tuna.

Thanks again,
