pregnancy and Robitusin....

I have read a few topics in here having to do with Robitusin medicine. How often would you take this? Would you take it like you would take it for using it as it says on the label or would it be takne differently? and having CF our menstral cycles are different so how do you know or how would you find out when your ovulation time is? Thankxany info will be greatly helpful

I am also trying to get pregnant. I have tried the robi for two months. I am taking the pills instead of the liquid form. My dr. says that will work just as well. I take it about three days before I ovulate, Cycle day 12 or so. I take it every 4 hours. I take 2 pills every four hours. Make sure you eat something with it, it does make me a little queasy and I don't have much of an appetite when I am taking it. This will be my second month trying it and I sure hope that it works. Hi! I am also trying to get pregnant. My husband and I have been trying since August with no luck. I have not heard about this Robitussin. What is it and how does it correlate to becoming pregnant? AE w/ cf

Hi,Supposedly....I keep reading all about this myself, if you take Robitussin cough medicine...THE EXPECTORANT kind (liquid or pill form, doesn't matter) about 3 days b4 you ovulate it helps loosen the mucus to help along with pregnancy(only take for the 3 days b4 ovulation). It helps loosen the mucus um DOWN there. I keep reading alot about this and hearing more and more about it too, so I was thinking of trying it myself too. At this point in time my being 36(female) I'll try just about anything.Good Luck!
