preparing your body for pregnancy

Well, I had pneumonia from the end of december till about the end of janurary and so i was on iv meds till about the 5th of Feb. On the 9th of feb. i had gotten my period and then in march i didn't get it so i thought maybe i wasn't fully done being sick yet cause when i am sick i never get my period. Then when I went to the doctors in the beginning of May I had found out I was 7 1/2 weeks pregnant. To me and my fiance we had decided that the course of antibiotics maybe had some role in me getting pregnant because we had tried for about 2 years and had not conceived til then.

Loulou, I will definitely look into Zyvox. I did ask my doc about xolair and he said "will be starting trials soon". But I won't be able to start if I am going to get pregnant so the doc said. I will look it up when Im finished.


Hey Luckygirl1989, you where lucky it sounds like you where so ill and then you where pregnant great news. I have an appointment with OB tomorrow to schedule a new date for IVF. Take care.

Sunflower-I did IV's in feb and my IVF in Mar, I planned it that way since I normally get sick around feb anyway. I also planned pregancy to miss the months of jan-feb when I normally get sick and need IV's. There have not been any data for xolair in pregnancy or breastfeeding I have talked with company extensively.

What is a practice IVF?? I am sorry you will have to delay IVF, I have sent you an email.
