If it is not to personal to ask/answer - what are your PFTs like?

I am asking because if you have ower lung function currently it may be possible that you are having O2 related issues. I bring this up because when I started getting to the point that I required O2 I would often wake up gasping for air in the middle of the night. It felt as though I was suffocating. I did not ask the doc about it cause I figured whatever no big deal - thought it was maybe anxiety or something.

After a few months of dealing with that I started having other issues to such as headaches and fatigue and so on. Those symptoms then led me to ask for an overnight oximetry reading which showed that I was desaturating at night and required O2 at night.

Hope that is NOT the problem and that you are feeling better soon, but I just wanted to put that out there for you to think about and maybe ask your docs about.

Thank you so much for answering, I will defenately see what my doctor says about that. Hopefully it isnt that but if it is then I would like to get it taken care of. It really is scary.

I hope you feel better Adam. It sounds like you are having anxiety on top of what is causing your breathing problems. Anxiety makes everything ten times worse.
