I had constipation issues, I ended up taking metamucil EVERY day until about 2 weeks ago. It helped so much.

I also had ligament pain from the growing uterus, very strange and uncomfortable feeling. Sometimes sharp pain, sometimes lasts a while, sometimes not.... however, if you are uncomfortable with it though and just don't feel "right", SEE YOUR DOCTOR right away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Keep us posted,

OMG!
I was on the throne all night.
I alternated from 8pm-11pm a glass on prune juice and a glass of water. I crapped my brains out!-tmi??!
There are sounds coming from my intestines I swear I've never heard before. This pregnancy has to be messing up my digestion-and I'm ot used to that b/c I haven't had big digestion issues.
This morning however, I feel SO much better than yesterday. I hardly notice the pain that was there yesterday. Maybe the cf docs were right and it was digestive. If so, I'm relieved.

Anybody (preg or no preg) have any tips on what you've used to get things moving-avoid constipation? And when you've had blockages or other bowel probs, how bad is the pain?

Thanks.

Ugh, I was really miserable toward the end of my pregnancy -- retaining water and poo! Thru out my pregnancy, increased my fruit/fiber intake, tried to make sure I drank LOTS and lots of water and also tried to continue to exercise -- I already walked 4 miles a day outdoors and on the treadmill, and I tried to continue walking at least 20 minutes a day. Toward the end - numerous pee breaks sorta interfered.

So try to stay active. Remember to keep hydrated. I kept a big bottle of water with me all the time.

I had to finally join

Anyway I am 10 weeks pregnant and have had a problems with
constipation and throwing up. Its either one or the other. I
haven't found anything that is great yet but I did switch my
prenatal vitamins to natural one and that seems to have helped
some.
I hope you start feeling better!
