problems with collistin

Happy Monday!!

I posted the one earlier about collistin and hives, but I could not get anything to post in the body!!

I just recently started collistin again. A few months I started it with a few other meds and it was summer-so I thought the sun was causing the rash. I am completely covered in hives<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif" border="0"> I read the possible reactions on the collistin and box....hives is one!!

Has anyone ever had this happen? I currently so a month of tobramycin and collistin. What are some alternatives for collistin?

I hope this one posts....so itchy!!

YUCK!

So sorry to hear this. I have used Colistin with problems so no help from me. What about trying Benadryl before taking the colistin?

Did you speak with a pharmacist or doctor?

Hope you find a solution!
