Process to get Respiratech

Hi all!

I currently have the hillrom. I woudl like to get the respiratech (especially after reading up on them and everyone's responses I have read on here).

My CF clinic said that respiratech made them do all the paperwork and pursuing insurance whereas hillrom will do it all for them so she is not willing to try respiratech again as they did it before and it didnt work. I was wonderfing what your experience was when trying to get the respiratech. Perhaps things have changed at the company now as it seems alot of poeple are getting them so it cant be that hard?

I plan to pursue this at my appt in June. I know my insurance will cover it as I have excellent insurance it is just all the hoops and paperwork.

I woudl like any feedback you have, ideas, data on teh respiratech if different than Amy's blog etc.

yeah, your clinic sounds like one of the many people reluctant to get off the Hill Rom bandwagon! i've had nothing but good, positive experiences with Respirtech. they offered to do everything they could to help get me a vest -- and i am on a medicaid-type program so they didn't even get full price for mine!
