There were a couple of mouthwashes that were recalled for cepacia that were hospital issued. Because of that, I would never use any mouthwash handed out at the hospital. The latest case of this was Cardinal health labeled alcohol free mouthwash just recalled last month. There was also a name-brand mouthwash that was recalled too a year or so ago...can't remember the name of it.

Also some baby wipes were recalled a while back. Here's a link on that recall, there are too many mouthwashes to put all the links, but you could google mouthwash & cepacia and get all kinds of info there.

Oh lovely- I never heard of that one, Lynda, and I usually have a container of cheap, unscented (from Walmart) in my van for handwashing...I wish I had heard about it! Oh well, if I had them, they're all gone by now <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0"> .

I seem to recall the CFF would have list recalls and warnings under the new section on their old website format. Just took a look and wasn't able to find anything similar.

Hi ya'll: Thanks for the recall articles. Great to know you all are so resourceful. I don't worry about this stuff so much. I try to keep it all in perspective . I do want to be informed though so I check these things out once in awhile. Im sure it is batches and not all. That's why they do recalls. I don't use mouthwash cause of that recall and I don't wear lipstick. Haa. that's keeping in perspective ha? Im not perfect. Thanks for wondering where I was. I was in the joint over The month of Feb-Mar. I went in for a regular cleanout and caught the flu. Oh well. Im over it and doing very well. I have been part of a Pulmonary Rehab program for no other reason than to get back on my feet and get strong again after the flu. It has been a long haul but worth it.

Glad to be back Sevenstars. It's nice to know someone noticed I was gone. That makes me feel good. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

I will check out the CFF site . It's nice to know that we have these resources. Im going to ask my clinic nurse if there is a regular site to check for these products. Thanks for the nudge.
