Since people with cf should be in close contact with each other because of the risk of passing pseudomonas, is it possible for non cfers to contract pseudomonas?

I believe it's more of a concern with people who have immune issues such as cancer patients undergoing chemo, autoimmune disorders, and people with COPD, elderly individuals.... As for healthy individuals, it shouldn't be an issue.

Like Liza said, its usually only a prob with immunocompromised individuals. I hug and kiss (and share food and drinks with) my hubby and kids all the time, they have never had a problem.
