Thanks. I'm lucky the PFTs have never dropped. If they ever do, I'll be on it ASAP! I'm trying to be as proactive as possible....all the while not "freaking out" about things I can't control.

Jaelyn was dx'd with Cystic Fibrosis and her first culture showed PA. Over the next 3 yrs, she cultured mucoid and non-mucoid. I never saw anything strange other than an occasional cold that wouldn't go away. At that time, they called in a rx of Cipro. Other than that, no complications or anything out of the ordinary. She has been clear of any strain of PA since April 2007. <img src="i/expressions/heart.gif" border="0">

staph and psudomonas are the two infections I grow most often, psudomonas is the reason I'm on Tobi and Staph is the reason I'm on Azithromycin... or maybe it's the other way around, as preventatives. My lungs stay very stable, but in the meantime I spend an extra hour a day doing nebs and take three more pills a week to help prevent any damage, what more can I do but pray? I can't complain, I have great stats right now.
