Yes, the old CF cocktail often does have cromolyn, which was more or less added because of many patients having allergies. If you don't have that component, you may not need it. Also, if you do use it, you have to monitor your eosinophil count because it can cause eosinophillic pneumonia, albeit rare. The main thing is to dilute the mucomyst to avoid a bronchospasmic effect.

I have used the Above for Years, works for Me..

I use a full vial of Albut, a full vial of Atrovent
along with 1 or 2 ml of 10% Mucomyst.

I tried DuoNeb, it didn't work as well for me.

Also Years ago I was in the Pulmozyme trials.
It didn't do a lot for me back then.
I have used Pulmozyme in the Hospital, it worked better
than before, or maybe I was just more junky then.

I have used the Above for Years, works for Me..

I use a full vial of Albut, a full vial of Atrovent
along with 1 or 2 ml of 10% Mucomyst.

I tried DuoNeb, it didn't work as well for me.

Also Years ago I was in the Pulmozyme trials.
It didn't do a lot for me back then.
I have used Pulmozyme in the Hospital, it worked better
than before, or maybe I was just more junky then.

Yes, it's a mast cell stabalizer.

And you would be floored if you saw how many CFer's have undiagnosed allergies.

It's a crime to end all crimes... which is why Minnesota proactively adds this.

Dynamite drug. As Warwick says, it's all about just keeping the lungs open.

Yes, it's a mast cell stabalizer.

And you would be floored if you saw how many CFer's have undiagnosed allergies.

It's a crime to end all crimes... which is why Minnesota proactively adds this.

Dynamite drug. As Warwick says, it's all about just keeping the lungs open.
