The first time ds used it, the only thing I noticed was that his nose ran. An oddity for him. He was 2 1/2 and I was amazed as I'd never seen him with a runny nose.

Are you allergic to Hamster Ovaries? <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> Think that's one of the indications on the product literature.

Hopefully it was just a fluke, especially since you were fine at the hospital.

Emily does Pulmozyme daily and has for a long time. I've not noticed the shaky stuff with her.

She does often ask for water to sip while she nebs - she takes a quick break for a sip, so there might be something to do with the taste/smell thing.

Liza - You made me laugh out loud! Every time I read aboout the hamster ovaries I think 2 things...1. who the heck figured out that you could do ANYTHING with hamster ovaries, let alone make a drug from them, and 2. how many hamster ovaries must it take to make a week's worth of Pulmo?!?!? LOL!!!

Hmmm... I don't think I am allergic to hamsters ovaries. :) I am prone to panic attacks... I am wondering if it was just a panic attack. Fairly new med...

I did better after about 2 hours... distracted myself. If I have trouble tomorrow I will email my nurse.
