I have a Respironics - (<a target=_blank class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://950fingeroximeter.respironics.com/">http://950fingeroximeter.respironics.com/</a> - that's what it looks like and some info on it.) I have had it about 6 or more years. It still workes great. It shows your Sat and Pulse. It fits on your finger, very portable. I believe my insurance company paid for it. At the time that I got it, ppl outside the medical field didnt have it, so it was very expensive. I believe now they arent as much. You might want to see if your insurance would pay for it. I believe my doctor wrote a Rx for it and probably a letter of medical necessity. I dont know if you can purchase them without a Rx. I have seen warnings that say you cant purchase without the order of a physician. So you might want to check into that as well.
Added: I found this website, seems to have a few that are alot cheaper.

If I come across anything else, I will post it <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
