Pulse oximeter

I found a thread from 2008 but I am looking for current info. I am in need of a fingertip pulse oximeter-just recently went on O2 and would like to monitor my sats.

Do you use a pulse ox? What would you recommend?

Thanks

I was literally coming on here today to post the same exact thing. Ha! I'm not on O2, but I think it's in the near future.

I noticed that even walmart sells them online, but for so many different prices-anywhere from like $80-300!

I'm glad you posted! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

my insurance provided one for my daughter by her doctors advice. but ours is a BIG OLD one with the "sticky bandaid looking" attachments that you wrap around the finger.

I have a Choicemmed Oxywatch C18SM, its one of the small portable ones that just goes on your finger. It was a gift (yes kind of a strang gift lol) so I'm not sure how much it was, but I know there are companies that sell them online for about $100.

@Jerry

I did-thanks for posting those videos. I have recently had to go on oxygen and took a look at your video-it took some of the "scariness" out this next step. thnx
