Question about Enzymes when sick

We always notice a change in stools with a cold. If it doesn't persist I don't change his enzymes but I always up his probiotic. I recommend a daily probiotic then you just add a little more when they are ill. I believe as long as the food you mix enzymes in is acidic your good to go. I resorted to jelly and dark chocolate syrup in a pinch, but pear and apple sauce is our main way.

Just curious, do they have any reasons for his pancreatic insufficiency? Is it a biological malfunction, something he'll out grow? Glad to hear it isn't CF!!

Is probiotics the lactobacillus?? sorry for such a silly question, LOL.
I will ask my dr. about it.

We still dont have any reasons for his pancreas, he said there is a chance he will outgrow it, time will tell!
