Please tell me, cuz I have to know, What is the 3 foot rule? <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"></end quote></div>

It's a long held myth that if you stay 3 feet away from anyone, you won't catch what they got. It's particulary held in the CF community to 'ensure' that you won't contract what someone else is incubating. It actually comes from some long ago study on the average distance an airborne contaminate may travel.

While I don't care for unsubstantiated propaganda, I found this document amuzing... <a target=_blank class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://acsp.cpha.ca/ctph/prespdf/Ugis_Bickis-CanCountTerr.pdf">debunking the 3 footer. </a>

I was thinking we see so many questions on the order of meds, cleaning equipment and the like....

I was dxd 13 yrs ago and i still have questions.. I was thinking it would be great if ALL Drs./CF Centers had a sheet that ppl could refer to that would answer so many questions we all have...
</end quote></div>

It becomes a matter of litigation. If the doctors produced a list, they would be liable for the content. If they were able to establish even a rule of thumb for what was the 'best method', wouldn't we all already be feeling better? Really, it's a matter of what works best for each individual. Finding that 'rythm' is what needs to happen. We can all share what we feel works for us, but what I do (and don't do), will probably kill someone else. And I asure you, my Docs don't agree with me! But hey, I'm only 51, dx'd at 14, what would I know? They're the docs!
