Thanks all for the am replies. I relieved to see that I am not the only one that has this issue.
Risa- I never even thought of it being related to Diabetes but that is a definite possibility. Maybe I should start modifying my diet some - blah no fun but maybe needs to be done. Also I will probably look in to the tea tree oil stuff. Anything that could help I would be willing to try at this point.

I brought this up cause I had to get an exam for the transplant evaluation and the woman seemed concerned about the amount of inflammation I have and did not believe me when I said I have always had that.

Also as a note, I have noticed that it seems to have gotten more severe as my health has declined over the years, it was barely noticeable 6 years ago when I had my first annual, but the past few years has become more and more glaringly obvious to my doc.

Thanks all for your thoughts and for sharing your experiences.

Take Care,
Lindsey

I have never been told that I am inflamed, but I have been told that I have a lot of mucus. They do say that things like that happen when your health declines. Its like they always say that your finger become more clubbed when you have an infection, I assume.

I have been told that my cervix is inflammed and depending on where I am on my cycle it has been known to make my paps come back abnormal. I have even had to have a colopascopy and then the ob doc said that it was related to my CF. I have also noticed that I grow yeast alot on my paps. Does this happen to anybody else?

Hi Becky,

I have had two paps come back abnormal due to this - I would have a repeat pap done 3 months later and all was fine each time. My last pap came back normal though. My doc associated it with infections that I had - each time they came back abnormal I was just getting over an infection and had been on IVs or oral antibiotics.

I have cultured yeast on one of my paps - again after having been on IVs. I have never had a colposcopy (however you spell it), but I am thinking that I may have to for this transplant stuff just to show them there is nothing more serious going on.

Take Care,
Lindsey
