question for those with gtubes

I felt like mine was leaking (around the actual part in my belly) and that my shirt was wet all night. Whatever it was was clear but it was annoying....any suggestions to stop it or what it was. It even seems very "leaky" today. I haven't even done a tube feed in a few weeks.

I did eat really spicy food for dinner -but took my nexium AND 2 tums...

Do you have the tube tube, or a button?

I have the tube tube (only been 3+ weeks since I got mine, so at 6 will switch) but I have leakage, but not enough to really wet anything, I get like a green or brown mucus come out though haha, and it tend to just kinda crust and clump up into goo right there.

Can you put like a gauze pad under the tube and tape it down to soak up anything?

I have a button. I've had a button since day one. We started with a bard button and then at 3 months switched me to an AMT mini. Which I have to say I LOVE. the connectors and everything are just so much better and tighter. This is really the first time I've had this issue. Its gotten crusty or something I have green or yellow ickies lol. I don't even know if I have the little thingies to put around that I got when I first got it... I'll have to look thats a good idea.

Hey Jessica,

When was the last time you changed the button? You hsould check to make sure there is enough water in the balloon, as if it is deflating, you could get a less secure fit.

I'm trying to get Alyssa switched to the AMT mini -- they look so much smaller and flatter than the mic-key she has.
