QUESTION, I don't understand why this isn't possible

Jessica some clinics do perform bronchs as part of a routine and they lavage out the mucous or suck out what they can. With every procedure comes risks and the more suction you do and the smaller the airways the more risk from my understanding. Of course there are the 'big' risks yada yada but the regualr risks with a bronch include introducing a new bacteria via the procedure, inflamming the airways, hemoptysis. I for one was more SOB that I have ever been and super inflammed for 4-5 days afterward and my hemoptysis increased.

my daughter had her first bronch last july and did great during and afterwards...i know that isnt always the case...but in our experience it cleared up the issues she was having at the time with staph aureus and haemophilis and she didnt have any adverse effects from it.
