Question--Pulmo Mate nebulizer by devilbiss

I have never heard of a Pulmo Mate. If it works, I wouldn't see why you couldn't use it. If you just use it as a back-up or in case something happens to your primary one. I would say having it as a back-up would be better than having nothing at all.

I have had my Pulmo-Aide (Devillbiss) since 1989. It still works fine. I use it twice a day. I think I have only had to take it in once to get repaired. I must have lucked out and got a good one since everybody else seems to have had bad luck with DeVillbiss.

We've got a spare Devilbiss from 1993 -- was DH's cousin's whose daughter had asthma. I remember our RT telling us how we could test it to see if it had enough psi... Can't recall the details. We use it at the outlaws house/vacation home as a spare. Works better than our brand new one -- Sunrise replaced it once alread a year ago.
