Question...

Hey everyone. For about the past two months I have been having a
lot of problems with feeling weak, and sometimes dizzy. Most
of the time it is when i have not had the chance to eat recently
and if i get something to eat or a soda it usually goes away for
awhile unless i don't eat again. So obviously it has to do
with me eating. I am pancreas sufficient so I don't have to take
enzymes. But other times I will have eaten and then I still
feel like this. It is really frustrating and no fun to keep
feeling bad. I sent my nurse an e mail asking about it, but I
was just wondering if anyone else has or is going through something
similar. I have seen a good amount of people talking about
CFRD on the site and I looked up some stuff online but i could not
really find a list of symptoms to look for. Im not really
sure so if anyone has any suggestions or anything please let me
know.

Thanks =)

Hi,
sounds like too low bloodsugar, could be cfrd, so you should check your bloodsugars for a while, especially, when this week feeling accurs.

sounds like low blood sugar to me also. I got this for a few years before it turned around the other way, to being high blood sugars. I have read somewhere that low blood sugars can be a precussor to diabetes. Definitely talk to your doctor about it. Symptoms of high blood sugar would be, frequent thirst, having to pee a lot, blurred vision, dizziness, tiredness, headaches, hunger, weight loss, etc.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Low blood sugar symptoms would be weakness, shaky feeling, dizziness, headache, failure to concentrate, hunger etc.

i know you said you don't need to take enzymes, but maybe its time to bring that up with your doctor again? you could just not be able to get the nutrients/protein from your food, so thats why you still are hungry/weak. maybe something to check on, but also i would go with what the other posters said.

goodluck!

Hey girl,

Ya, something doesn't sound right.

I get hypoglycemic - usually a few hours after I take my zithromax. Not sure why.

I get EXTREMELY hungry right away - and if I let it go on too long, I get cold, but sweaty, and weak.

I'm going to get a diabetes test soon for my annual. Hopefully for me, it's not diabetes.

Check with Debbie - she'll probably tell you to get a diabetes test too.

I gotta go with the other folks

Sounds like Your blood sugar is dropping

That happens to me to if I don't eat or am under a lot of stress

I have 5 or 6 smaller meals through out the day
rather than just 3, it works well for me...
