Quick baby update

Amy.... Sorry, I've failed on the belly shot today. We were going to do it this evening but I ended up going into the hospital (a nice long 1 hr drive) because I was having some cramps.

All is well, they checked everything again and can't figure out what the problem is, so they just sent me home....I'm a tough "clinical" patient, I always have been. I never present with problems normally. I was talking to my mom about this on the way home from the hospital and she was telling me about all the problems they had when I was younger because I'd be sick, but no fever, no common sick symptoms... my poor doctors and nurses.

So I'll have one take tonight before bed (here in a few minutes) and then I'll upload it tomorrow- SORRY!!!

Hey Julie, I am glad every thing is going good for you and those wonderful bundles of joy. By the way I really think the names you have picked are beautiful. Beautiful names for beautiful babies. Take care get a much rest as you can before they arrive you will need it. I couldn't imagine multiple births. I have 3 kids Eric 13w/cf Anthony 11 w/ocf and Megan 3 w/o cf. I just wanted to congratulate you on the future adventure of you and mark being wonderful parents. I can tell from the forum you are a very caring person.

Ok, I officially suck and cannot follow through on my word worth crap latey. I BLAME it on the procardia, it's making me sleepy and I can't think <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">. Sorry about no pictures yet, every time I remembered yesterday Mark had just left to run another errand for me.... Sweet guy.

I will be gone at my moms house today, but will try to have a new picture taken this evening. I'm sorry.........

I FINALLY had mark take a picture, and then I FINALLY got the picture updated on the website. We have this laptop, only since Feb 05 but it's one of those 17 inch ones that's semi heavy and a HUGE battery. This stupid thing overheats all the time. We don't even use the battery anymore because it's pointless, it would overheat in like 15 minutes and the battery only keeps a charge for about 3 hours. It was shutting down like every 30 minutes with the battery. And we unplug it every night. So for the last 9+ months we've only used it plugged in (ideal for a laptop isn't it????) Well in the last few weeks it's been shutting down due to overheating about 3 times a day on average, sometimes more. It's so frustrating. I'm not using it more than usual.... it's just being stupid and stubborn. Sometimes I want to throw it out the window.

So I was trying to update the website tonight, add some things into the pregnancy journal (which I FINALLY was able to) and it's taken me from 8pm until now (midnight) to do it. It was like 20 minutes worth of work. But everytime I woudl type a few sentences, it would shut down. Poor Mark, I had a nervous breakdown and started crying. He's a great husband though, SOOOO patient!

So, I updated the belly pictures page, the pregnancy journal, the funny page and the donations page.

Hope you guys get some good laughs.

Holy cow--no offense intended!! Have you got a sling for the tummy yet--can't imagine walking without one! Hold on, a few weeks left! Think you need to upgrade to a different laptop!

Hey Julie Its Kandi I am not logged in at the moment but I have heard that there are recalls on Dell and Apple Computer Lag tops because of batteries overheating. Not sure what type you have but it may be something to check into. Just a heads up.

OMG Julie! You look great! And I love the funny pipctures. That cat of yours is quite a mess! Glad to hear you and the babies (and Mark, of course!) are doing well. You are all in my thoughts & prayers.

Kandi took the words right out of my mouth....does this sound like your laptop brand?
From what I understand the batteries can become so overheated that they cause a fire.

Sorry Julie when I loook at the website I still see pictures dated the 14th or so not from this weekend. Maybe my computer or something going on. But I know no matter what pregnancy agree with you. Not much longer. Like I said before get some rest now in a couple of weeks your lives are going to be wonderfully turned up side down for wonderful reasons. ( 3 to be exact).

Ditto here -- no new pick after 8-14, just the red x

Also... ditto on the computer battery -- sounds to me like you might be in line for the recall -- great way to get a new one for free!

LOL, Terri, no offense taken!!! I DID have a sling for it but I OUTGREW IT!!! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> Not sense in investing in one for the next 4 weeks. I actually outgrew it about 4 weeks ago but since I dont really go out anymore.... I just hold it up when I walk aroudn the house!

Thanks Kandi... I heard that too. Ours is and HP though and we called HP about the laptop. We are going to send it into them to repair it, I asked if whe could "downgrade" to a smaller laptop because I think the problem is the size of it... they said no. We'd have to buy a new laptop on our own. Which of course isn't an option so we are going to repair it for now. It sucks though because we'll be without a computer for about 2 weeks...... Of course during the most "crucial" weeks while I'm on bedrest and the babies will likely show up.

Let me look into the picture issue. It was so late last night when I finally finished up that I didn't even check out the website... I'll go look.

The picture is there now. Sorry about that, I don't know what the deal was but I just went back and re-added the picture and uploaded it again. I checked this time and the picture is there.
