Raising Money for Great Strides

Hey. I was wondering: can anyone think of some creative ways to raise money for CF? I always do letters, and bottles and cans, and asking schools...can you think of anything else?

Thanks!

Hello

My daughters elem. school just did a Hat Day for CF, anyone could wear a hat to school that day, all day long if they donated a $1.00, teachers and staff could wear jeans for $2.00. Our school actually raised $200.00 that day for Great Strides, I think they did a great job.

I sell Home Interior candles and make a profit each year for Great Strides, also my CF chapter has these paper roses and shoes that businesses can sell for a $1.00 and they write their names on them and the business displays them.

I also just contacted the classic cookie company and i am getting ready to start a cookie dough fundraiser, they sell for $12.00 for 3 lb tub and you make a $5.00 profit from each tub sold, there is a $100.00 shipping fee if you can not meet the 198 tub requirement, www.classiccookie.com, they are located in Tennesee and i am in Ohio, so if you live there or close there may not be a shipping fee.

Good Luck in Fundraising

We did a bake sale/craft sale and raised over $2,000! I held a garage sale this weekend. The weather was terrible so it didn't do as great as I had hoped. But have family and friends donate stuff they would otherwise take to Goodwill or throw away. I also signed up yesterday to sell AVON (only $10 to sign up!) and I will donate proceeds to CFF. They also have a line of products for teens that looks really cool!

Good Luck! I love the ideas. I'm always looking for ways to raise money without asking friends and family for cash donations!
