Like I've said hardly any reputable artists use iron/mercury in ink anymore. Yes, if your ink has mercury in it - then it will heat up, but with all the new ink that is out it doesn't occur anymore - red being the only ink that may have traces of mercury in it. Urban legend was a bad word to use in this instant, but I still stand by the epidural legend.
