Rash on back

My son came home from school yesterday with a rash that starts in the middle of his back, and goes to the top of his pants. I just want to make sure that this isn't some weird sign or symptom of something related to CF. Anybody else have a problem like this?

Tracey, mom to Sydney, 8 w/cf and asthma & Seth, 4 w/cf both DDF508

I wouldnt say its a "CF THING", but it could be connected to a CF med <b>OR</b> it could just be a regular kid thing....allergies, reaction to new laundry soap, rash from strep or something etc.

Any fevers? Is it itching? Is it spreading?

He did have a cold last week, no sore throat - just a stuffy head cold. It does itch, and it is on one of his hands now. No fever or anything.

Glad I took him to the doctors, it looks like chicken pox. He had his vaccinations about two weeks ago, and he's having an outbreak of them - more than what he should be.
