The next time someone comments to me "you aren't handicapped" when I park in the blue zone will be: "Oh, I didn't know you were a specialist. Can I have your card because I'd really love to find someone local...and not have to drive 90 miles for my frequent appts and hospitalizations." and then see what they say.

All my life I have looked healthy up until 2 years ago. People are kinda dumb when they say things like "you don't look sick" and other things. Remember that cf is a rare illiness so most don't know what it is and most people don't know much about being sick in the first place
