i didn't watch this season because it aired in 1994 and i was in 4th grade and would have been totally clueless as to what was going on, but Pedro was on Real World: San Francisco (1994) and was battling AIDS which he died from later that year. he was the first real worlder (according to google) to have a chronic illness. followed later by Irene from Real World: Seattle with lyme disease and frankie with cf.
