Thank you for the advice I am going to call the pharmacy and move my Vanco infusing to go slower. I took another benadryl 25mg at 10:30pm because I have red blotches as big as half dollars on my neck, bottom, and along my sides. I itch like crazy...

Yea I was going to say all of those suggestions. How long have you been on it? Maybe it will go away once your body gets used to it...

I have been on it for 2 days now. I slowed it down to infuse over 2 hours and 45 minutes it seemed to help with the red blotched but not with the itching.

I am going to take a bath in oatmeal solution to see if that helps with the itching today.

I think everyone covered all the bases really well., I had to do my 2 grams of Vanco over 4 hours, otherwise I got really bed Red Mans.... 4 hours twice a day for 21 days on top of three other antibiotics meant pretty much continually infustions.. which stink but at least I wasn't itchy and hurting
