Have you ever tried the spoon theory? It is an explanation created by someone with lupus. <a target=_blank class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://www.butyoudontlooksick.com/the_spoon_theory/">http://www.butyoudontlooksick.com/the_spoon_theory/</a>

I don't use it myself, but some people really seem to like it.</end quote></div>

That's so weird, I saw this story written up in one of the CF Roundtable issues last year and it was 'written by a girl with CF'. Now it's been written by two people with two different illnesses.

Oh well....no biggy. I enjoyed reading it b/c it's just a new and different visual for what our bodies go through.

Beyond the physical reasons, which are real and plentiful, the psychological toll is huge. I just read an article about how people in debt are more likely to feel sick and have ailments because of all the stress. CF is a giant stressful nightmare - even if you have it under control. NO one understands except people with other chronic illnesses. We never get to a enjoy a single day without it. No vacation. Ever.

I would be interested in seeing the one geared toward CF just to see how they compare. I think the story/idea is a great one in general so just curious. If you happen to have saved it CowTown can you send it to me. I will look on Roundtable in the meantime!
