Running After transplant

You can do whatever you can build up too. I know Grant Prather here in Jacksonville would run marathons after his transplant. To my knowledge it was one of his passions. Unfortunately he passed away or I would tell you to talk to him - he ended up getting cancer about 5-6 years after his transplant.

But the reason of my mentioning him was that yes you can run. I do not run because it hurts my knees. I stick with bike riding and walking personally BUT if you were once a runner and have the drive to do it again there is no reason you can't.

hey i had a question for you. i was transplanted in 06 and doing well now..... glad to hear that your doing so well. i have wanted to be a nurse for awhile but worried about being in contact with patients. after getting my degree i know i have a ton of options but clinicals now worry me. how is it going for you? what are you doing about the h1n1 influenza? im usually not on here but i will try to check in. if possible could you email me on my yahoo address? it's jsmith41383@yahoo.com.... im always on there. i hope to hear from you soon.... thanks
