Salt and Saline Question

Howdy! Has anyone ever heard of any research being done with how healthy a CF'er is and the amount of salt they consume? Just curious...with all this saline talk I was wondering if ingesting salt in other manners would be helpful as well.
I was diagnosed with CF at 3 weeks old...so consider myself to be an average CF'er I suppose. I salt pratically everything I eat...and salt it a great deal might I add. (I can quit honest...just one more fix is all I need I swear! ) My FEV1 is around 105%+ and I think I am a pretty healthy person. Along with the salt I add to practically every meal I also use Broncho Saline along with my Coli...but I dont know the amount of salt that is in it.
Just curious if anyone has heard anything along these lines.
Thanks ya'll!

I also add tons of salt to my food. When I am exerting myself in an activity and loose tons of salt I've taken salt pills which help a lot. They only help though if you've truly lost a ton and feel weak because of it. If you haven't lost enough salt during an activity and you take a salt pill, you'll probably throw up. So there must be a known balance of how salt your system needs. That's all I know....nothing scientific.
