Hey, I just wanted to say something about SAM-e. I just wanted to say that it is wonderful...to the point I will actually say something on this board about it. SAM-e is great for two of the things that plague me the most on a daily basis about CF- depression and joint pain. I swear after taking it for a week (I've now been on it for a few months) my depression was lifted (almost entirely- the rest was just school/sick anxiety) and best of all my joint pain is soooooo much better. This summer I hadn't been taking it for a while and a few days my back pain was so immense that I would just lay on my hardwood floor for hours for it to go away. Since restarting the SAM-e the pain is gone (i was taking so much Motrin each day like 1000+) and my depression is gone pretty much. The only downside is if you are on SSRI antidepressants you shouldn't take it. But overall it is probably the best supplement I have ever taken. And on vitacost its relativly cheap. Like $19 for a month.

I agree! I take a supplement with glucosamine, chondroiton, SAM-e and and hyalonuric acid. I ran out onced, got tired of swallowing (they're big as horse pills!) After not taking it I realized how much it had helped. I also get hyalgan injections in my knees every 6 months which works miracles.
