I'm not sure I'm posting in the right place, for I am new to this site. However I am not new to CF. I have a 23 yr old son with CF. I am trying to find a way for him to get the scandi-shakes. He is on disability and his Medicaid/Medicare will not pay for it. We did contact someone from Scandi I think it was and they said they could not provide any help to him being he is on Medicare/Medicaid, but well niether of those will cover it, so what do we do. We did get some from the drug store today, but 12 cans cost us $34... wow, can't afford that very long. He is 23 and was dignoised when he was 3 weeks old, has done really well most of the time, just has alway had a hard time gaining and keeping weight on, as we all know. Does anybody have any ideas on how me might get these Scandis? thanks!

I know one way is to enroll in the Axcan Pharmacy Patient Assistance Program. He may have to switch enzymes to Ultrase, but then once you buy your enzymes you send the proof of purchase to the company and they send you free scandishakes and Aquadeck vitamins every month. Check out this website or Google Axcan Patient Assistance. <a target=_blank class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://www.patientassistance.com/profile/axcanscandipharminc-62/

</a>
Good luck!
