Should I be concerned?

My son use to routinly culture it, and it was never treated, cause there were no symptoms, basically told it was harmless. HOWEVER, I got epiglotitis, which is painful and usually caused by H Flu, which I am too old to have gotten that vacinne, so I would say I got it from my son. But to other vaccinated kids, it would not harm them.
