Vital Signs maybe?

It's a British television show but if it's been well received they might be bringing it over here, maybe.
"Rhoda Bradley (Tamzin Outhwaite) works as a frustrated supermarket check out assistant, with a rather challenging domestic life, being the mother of three children that one of them has Cystic Fibrosis."

I'm sure I watched a couple of episodes of that when it aired here last year, and for the life of me, I cant remember any reference to CF in it. The wife more than likely watched it, she likes Tamzin O' shes a really good actress, but I cant recall her saying anything about it.
