Those who have Durable medical equipment (DME), could you list what it is that you use (i.e. nebulizer from company X) and if you can recall, the company it is made by (i.e. Pari). Same if you use the vest (please name the company you got it through) or anything else that I havent mentioned here yet.

At this point, the frequency of use isn't relevant (yet) but if you wish to put it, go ahead and do so.

Thanks for all of your help, especially on the medication question one, keep them coming, here and there please!!!!

Hey,

I use an old school pulmo aide...and neb kits from Salter. I think it is funny I "run" a DME company and I use a nebulizer that is 10 years old. I did take a mini-mate neb(they are smaller) to Italy with us but I burned it up like an idiot in the electic jack(long story).

I use a Devilbiss Pulmo-aide neb and Devilbiss "T" style? disposable nebulizers. I got hooked on these while doing Colistin because the foaming wasn't so bad, and I guess never went back to the PARI.
Hope

I'm doing some research, keeping track of the supplies that CFers use (including medications in a previous thread). No names or anything, but I'd like to have a running tally of what companies CFers tend to use for DME equip. (i.e. pari is use the most by those who replied for nebulizers...). This is info I am going to use for another CF awareness letter later this year, maybe appealing to not only the media but also companies who provide a majority of supplies to CFers.

No names are necessary, I just want to get an accounting for how many people use the vest and from what company (I think there are 2???), how many use a nebulizer and from what company, a portable neb. and from what company? Any other CF DME that is used and the company who provides it or Name of the product (Brand name)
