I kinda feel like that most of the people that talk are in their 20's and should probably go on the young adult section. I am 34 years old and deal with such different issues. It would be refreshing to talk with adults in the 30, 40 and 50's. And I am not saying in your 20's you are NOT an adult so please do not get all up in arms. I just am saying that my issues, concerns, daily life is soooo different than the 20 ish people.

Many of the 30+ on this site are non-CFers, it seems like.
Since everage life expectancy is 32, you're going to get a lot of 20 somethings on an Adult site.

I guess I haven't noticed that the majority of 30+ posting is non-cf, but I will agree that there are not a lot of us actually posting.
For me, its just how I was raised. Don't roll you eyes, but we didn't grow up with the internet and cell phones. I think I was a senior in college when we were REQUIRED to have an email account - and we all complained about it (one more thing to learn). While I now have several email accounts, and am on the web daily, I don't rely on it for communication. Maybe it's just me (more than likely), but I think the reason there are more 20+ aged adults on this site, is because it seems to be more your thing (don't bash me, I'm old).
I do agree with Jen that there are not as many topics that really relate or are helpful to us 30+'s (outside of medical care). Perhaps it's up to us to start posting more topics on our concerns to give the younger generation something to think about as they get older.
For example, how do I plan for retirement when I know my state funded insurance is going to seize my assests upon death as a 'repayment'? How carefully do I need to keep my and future husbands assest seperate? Isn't life fun? <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
P.S. Please don't focus too much on average life span. I have seen it change so many times over the years, and you will too. In fact, I think 32 is already outdated - I think it moved up to 36. In fact, it will continue to go up, as we continue to live longer lives - something the medical world and government were not expecting, hence the lack of support for adults with cf.
Edit: Luke I have to agree. I can't think of how many times I've come here to browse only to leave thinking that I'm too old for this. And if I hear someone write about their right to post their thoughts one more time (forum or blog), I will probably sigh myself to death.
