I have had 5 sinus surgeries removing the pollyps from 7 yrs until I was 19. Then, they just quit growing back.
That, however, did not end the sinusitus. I guess that'll be a lifetime problem. I am 32 now. For 10 years I did Cipro for sinus infections, but unfortunately, that made my bacteria very resistant. Then, I began having the lung issues. For the nosebleeding, my doctor ups my Vitamin K, and that helps. I have used sinus sprays when I was younger, but can't remember the names, maybe Flonase or something.

Me! Me! (waves hand in the air)

I had three surgeries when I was younger, like in middle school....then, somehow, they mysteriously stopped growing out of control and since then have been controlled by flonase and sinus rinse. I cannot recommend enough these two remedies. When I stopped taking them my polyps started growing out of control yet again, and a quick trip to my Ear Nose and Throat Doctor confirmed that I must keep up with my meds!

A couple weeks ago my ENT said that both of these, especially Flonase, work very well on me and that he did not recommend surgery at this time. However, I am very thankful that we CFers have the option of surgery!

Good luck, and I hope you feel better!
