My 7 year old son had sinus surgery when he was 4. He's never been symptomatic since the surgey and the procedure was easier than we all thought it would be. He was up and around the same evening and actually breathing through his nose as well. He doesn't suffer with sinusits anymore and has no risk of infection from the draining>
