I could have written your post. My son 19 just finished Iv's 2 weeks ago, feeling good now coughing and feeling junky. I too am very discouraged as is he.

At clinic both boys' pfts were as low as they were last month before the cleanouts. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif" border="0"> Jesse's doc wanted him to be admitted again for two weeks of cefapime and aztreonam. He usually finishes the abx at home, but this time he'll stay the whole time. It really stinks that he'll miss his last three finals at school AND his first two weeks of summer vacation.

Josh's doctor is trying a different approach. Josh will have five more days of prednisone, combivent, advair, cephtaz nebs and levaquin. It is an interesting change- we'll see what happens.
