I recently started doing g-tube feeds overnight. I have had my tube for 7 years but I always hated being hooked up to things at night so I did bolts feeds during the day. About a month ago I decided to try overnight feeds again since it was starting to get really hard for me to get my cans in during the day. Ever since I have woken up really hot. I usually am pretty warm at night but this is starting to get ridiculous. I wear shorts an a t-shirt to bed and my room is about 10 degrees cooler than the rest of the house and I am sweeting I it. The hotness doesn't stop after I get up. I remain hot for at least half the day sometimes more. It is cold where I live (mid 30s to 40s). And I find myself sitting outside most days in a t-shirt and jeans to get some relief from the heat. It's not my house because I am the only one who is hot and I live with 3 other people. I even drive with my windows down and I am again just wearing a t-shirt. I do have to say it is a little nice since I used to be freezing all winter and now it feels like summer to me. Anyway sorry this post is so long. Mainly I am wondering if anyone else has this problem after doing tube feeds. I am assuming this is what it is from since it started after I started doing them over night.
